Indiscriminate Human Atrocity

Israel action in Gaza is a real indiscriminate human atrocity.

World body cannot just sit tight lipped. UN watch dogs are just mere spectators even after 21 days of this kind of cruelty. Diplomatic pressure is not enough.

Horrific and collective punishment will affect innocent lives. Children’s are buried under fire power of Israelites. Israel is not above UN; they have complete right to defend their country that doesn't mean they can unleash cruelty on innocent people.

This world will not forget this disproportional action of Israel.
This is unjustified.

Audacity of Hope

Audacity of Hope
I was traveling from LA to India.
After boarding the flight from LA; I started reading book which was given to me as a gift by one of my friend. The book was written by Elected President Barrack Obama. His thoughts on reclaiming American Dream!

I was not reading for just sake of reading; when I turn each page I was able to feel the humiliation of his; who was struggling to reclaim American Dream!
Page 3 – “You realize don’t you, that the political dynamics have changed,” he said as he picked at his salad.
“What do you mean”, I asked, knowing full well what he meant. We both looked down at news paper beside him. There, on the front page, Osama Bin Laden. “Hell of thing isn’t it?” he said, shaking his head. “Really bad luck; you can’t change your name, of course. Voters are suspicious of that kind of thing”. (Obama and his friend, a media consultant)

Page 10 – I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody’s religious beliefs-including my own-on non believers. Furthermore I am a prisoner of my own biography.

Page 11 – I reject a politics that is based on racial identity………

Page 210 – and then he (Mr.Keyes) added for good measure that because I was not a descendants of slaves….

Page 211 – “This is a disaster!”…….”What about white guys!!!” (On hearing Obama to be selected for Illinois)

He has set a big task for himself (in this book and for his life). He was born to Harvard-educated Kenyan economist and a white mother from Kansas, and was raised by his white maternal grandparents. He wrote his first book in 1955 - Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance. A much unusually frank document for his current position. Blunt write ups about his feelings.

Acting alone among contemporary politicians, He proved great potential to break the current red–blue impasse and construct a new politics that is progressive. Barack Obama have to demonstrate more courage than he has.

He requires audacity not only of hope –but- of action.

Show American people and the world in concrete ways what his imagined America/World will look like. Phenomenon may be the right word; if Barack Obama can do that.

Forgotten Son of Homeland

This act considered as outrageous, barbaric, audacious terrorist attacks ever seen in the world! Surprise attack! Just like 9/11! Confusion and bloodshed! Festival of dead-bodies! A sad day for entire developed civilizations!

Officers of high cadre Hermant Karkare, Ashok Kamte and inspector Vijay Salaskar; and many policemen lost their lives during anti terrorist operations. They were given full respect and state honours.

We lost one more officer from NSG - Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan - who was killed while fighting against terrorists.

I am terribly shaken when i could not find reports saying a single representative from Kerala state assembly gave tribute/respect to this brave soldier but inestead read some nasty comments from a person who is holding highest post in Kerala Govt.

Sad!

Major Sandeep – You died for our country not just for the state; we remember you; we love you; we honor you; people of Kerala honors you; not just people of Kerala, entire country remember you.

I started to feel that I have got one more history to tell to my kids about those people; people who died for our country.

We lost many innocent lives; all lives are precious! Tribute to all lives lost!
