Audacity of Hope

Audacity of Hope
I was traveling from LA to India.
After boarding the flight from LA; I started reading book which was given to me as a gift by one of my friend. The book was written by Elected President Barrack Obama. His thoughts on reclaiming American Dream!

I was not reading for just sake of reading; when I turn each page I was able to feel the humiliation of his; who was struggling to reclaim American Dream!
Page 3 – “You realize don’t you, that the political dynamics have changed,” he said as he picked at his salad.
“What do you mean”, I asked, knowing full well what he meant. We both looked down at news paper beside him. There, on the front page, Osama Bin Laden. “Hell of thing isn’t it?” he said, shaking his head. “Really bad luck; you can’t change your name, of course. Voters are suspicious of that kind of thing”. (Obama and his friend, a media consultant)

Page 10 – I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody’s religious beliefs-including my own-on non believers. Furthermore I am a prisoner of my own biography.

Page 11 – I reject a politics that is based on racial identity………

Page 210 – and then he (Mr.Keyes) added for good measure that because I was not a descendants of slaves….

Page 211 – “This is a disaster!”…….”What about white guys!!!” (On hearing Obama to be selected for Illinois)

He has set a big task for himself (in this book and for his life). He was born to Harvard-educated Kenyan economist and a white mother from Kansas, and was raised by his white maternal grandparents. He wrote his first book in 1955 - Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance. A much unusually frank document for his current position. Blunt write ups about his feelings.

Acting alone among contemporary politicians, He proved great potential to break the current red–blue impasse and construct a new politics that is progressive. Barack Obama have to demonstrate more courage than he has.

He requires audacity not only of hope –but- of action.

Show American people and the world in concrete ways what his imagined America/World will look like. Phenomenon may be the right word; if Barack Obama can do that.

Forgotten Son of Homeland

This act considered as outrageous, barbaric, audacious terrorist attacks ever seen in the world! Surprise attack! Just like 9/11! Confusion and bloodshed! Festival of dead-bodies! A sad day for entire developed civilizations!

Officers of high cadre Hermant Karkare, Ashok Kamte and inspector Vijay Salaskar; and many policemen lost their lives during anti terrorist operations. They were given full respect and state honours.

We lost one more officer from NSG - Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan - who was killed while fighting against terrorists.

I am terribly shaken when i could not find reports saying a single representative from Kerala state assembly gave tribute/respect to this brave soldier but inestead read some nasty comments from a person who is holding highest post in Kerala Govt.

Sad!

Major Sandeep – You died for our country not just for the state; we remember you; we love you; we honor you; people of Kerala honors you; not just people of Kerala, entire country remember you.

I started to feel that I have got one more history to tell to my kids about those people; people who died for our country.

We lost many innocent lives; all lives are precious! Tribute to all lives lost!

MJ=Unknown

Islam is a good religion.
Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Christian “ism” are also good.
Only problem; how it is been followed;
followed by people; people of worshipers!

I am a hard fan of him since childhood (1984), when my father bought Billie Jean cassette player and I also paid relatively good amount to see his concert when he came to Mumbai in 1996.

It is news for millions of fans across the globe; but i felt sad when I saw when he changed his name to Mikaeel without knowing the sanctity of the name! It is just a name for some but when known people change their name on such occasions to such names; is a worrisome! Thinking about his past doings; whether he was wrong; not sure to anyone though !

If he did this to promote his new music; then okay since centuries people changed their names to resemble their art and culture but not sure whether he made a mistake by doing that in this century; especially so much going on in the name of religion!

Secular Face of America

Congratulations to first black American President Barack Obama (Barack Hussein Obama) !

During Democratic Presidential debate in Las Vegas; there was allegation around in internet and other media that he is a secret Muslim who worships Koran. There was deeply acrimonious dispute between Hillary and Obama over the issue of race.

Spreading rumors about a president nominee is not a good thing; but it is sad when a President nominee (now elected President) had to prove that he is Christian and he worships only Bible. He had to prove his membership of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ.

America upholds religious freedom; but world convinced that America cannot afford to give highest office in their country to a non-christian.

Just another face of American secularism!

Your Character in Plastic Card

A beautiful ID card is been introduced and came into effective in one of the major European country; this country was a super power in 19th and 20th century. They can stop me anytime anywhere. They can differentiate a foreigner and a citizen. Is this introduced to catch a criminal; then it may not be useful since no criminal going to carry this ID card wherever he or she goes. A new face of “19th/20th century empire” who believes in divide and rule; and got hidden hands everywhere to rule this world through their well defined policies.

Civil liberties already accused government for introducing such ID cards on the grounds that these ID card can lead to exploitation by intelligence and security authorities.

A strategy against minorities and against skins of different colors; and a new step towards restoring 19th century “discriminatory codes” which may affect innocent people; people those who believe in love, respect and freedom.

Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio

Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio; a respected french novelist and author of many books is been honored with Nobel Prize for his distinguished life's work. The author published his first novel, The Interrogation, in 1964.

Third Party System

India is flooded with political parties and can contest elections on any banners as long as they meet the requirements and follow election commission rules and regulations. A true democratic process, world cannot deny.

We have another great democratic country who claims they are great democracy and exporting the same ideology across the world. Their electoral system completely based on electoral colleges and on two party system. No third parties are allowed to stand in election or even if they are allowed; they may not be able to debate the other presidential candidates from these two main stream political parties.

Reason by political think tank: They do not qualify.

In the year 2000; a independent candidate stood and received around 3 million votes which some argue it cost of a main political candidate from beating the current president, who won that election.

The same person standing as independent candidate this time too; but he is restricted from appearing along with other contestants.

Every country says their future belong to younger generation; support for this candidate comes from this generation; who are under 21 years old.

His supporters say it's about opening up a system dominated by two parties which have failed the country for decades and failed to open the countries political system for common people.

Hindu and Hinduism

Hindus worship gods which appear in many ways, it could be in many forms – In other words deities which represent god, god in many forms of same consciousness. God is super natural and super power and deities are based on crystallization of principles and same universal consciousness.

Hindu Civilization has long history. Hindu religion doesn't have specific founder. It has more literate and educated members since centuries upholding tendency to preserve all culture Hindu values. All new ideas have come in many ways; is just an extension of old believes & customs. Some believes it is an inheritance of traditions. It also provides a sense of permanence in Hinduism.

Hinduism believes in various behavioral stages in human life. Hindus believes different form of behaviors in different stages of life. This approach put right things in right place. Children’s are treated as students (celibate), later he becomes house holder who takes responsibilities and engage in reproducing and physical pleasures (Kamasutra scripts); he the person who takes care of material world. And slowly aging man moves away from these stages.

In Vedic age; specialized devotional activity called soma ritual is been followed in Hinduism; this ritual activities takes many days (like crushing Soma plant and squeezing liquid). Brahmans which were composed adopted the most important rituals. They have maintained all privileges to perform all rituals. Priests were invited in most auspicious ceremonies (for Pooja, Rituals etc).

The Taitriya Upanishad, Sangeethas indicated in earliest Vedic ages; ancient Indian used to eat cow but later in Hinduism cows become a sacred animal. Eating beef becomes sin. Later Upanishad introduced different idea called Reincarnation. Upanishad introduced painful cycles of birth, the ultimate escape from these recycle of birth called MOKSHA. Unenlightened souls trapped in. This put many Hindus into high disciplined life. This gave dominance of priest on others. Buddhism and Jainism dominated in early 250 BCE. Many scholars argued this point for centuries with reference to Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. All rituals is being conducted by Brahmins; ritual obsession and extremisms started to emerge.

Vedic ideas and ritual gradually faded in background and new face of Hinduism started to emerge during 6BCE. During 320 BCE Alexander invaded North West India; the rulers banded together called Mauryan Empire. Indian politics changed; Ashoka became emperor in 250 BCE, during his conquest lakhs of people died. Royal support for Jainism and Buddhism started and continued for 1000 years.

In 9the century CE; only little Hindu believes and ideology survived. People started to follow Buddhism and Jainism. Hindus restructured their philosophical and theological systems and developed certain does and don’ts. They put forward different ideas in scripts; started to worship personal divinities which you cannot find in any of Vedic text. There were tough restraints and conflicts between Hinduism and other followers not physical but on highly intellectual basis. Many personal divinities started to emerge as deities.

Taitariya Upanishad has direct influence of Buddhism treatises. Taitariya upanishad concludes that there is real soul but some Buddhists continues to denied. Hindu philosophers and theologians developed systematic ideas which are not fully worked out in Upanishads.

Early 9th CE Shankaracharya said all idols are like Brahmans without qualities. His Advaita Vedanta says gods are lower form of Brahmans. Ultimate Brahman and Individual soul are one. He called that all distinct gods are imperfect reflection what he called Brahman without qualities.

Later enormous kind of arts, dance, painting, singing, writing etc of literature started to emerge. During these cultural changes; massive transformation occurred in Hinduism; during this era two great Epic story called Mahabharata and Ramayana took place.

Mahabharata: Kuravas & Pandavas (Story of two royal families). Kuravas won the kingdom after gambling game. Pandavas had to live in forest for 13 years based on agreement they would receive the kingdom when they return. Kuravas did not oblige which resulted in a war between Pandavas and Kuravas. Eighteen chapters of Mahabharata have become sacred scripts and is it known as Bhagavat Gita (Song of God).

Ramayana: Sacred god taken in human form as prince. Many texts is been considered in this book as sacred and religious.

Since 12th century India was destination for many conquerors (especially Moslems from Central Asia & Christians from Europe) which led to modernization of Hinduism. Hinduism rejected other religion ideas. A new form of Hinduism movement took place to fight against these invaders.

Still Hinduism upholds its culture and discipline which is been inherited since 250 BCE.

Hinduism is not just a religion but is a way of life !!!

Christian Embassy

Christian Embassy originated in 1974.
Christian Embassy; a shadow or behind-the-scene agency formed for government and military elites. In other words many members of Christian Embassy are members in advisory board of Pentagon and in White House ranging from high level commanders, leading advisors to white house policies.

Ministers to congressmen and senators arrive in Christian Embassy and learn/follow gospels through fellowship and bible studies. Sometime many decision (what is been referred as knowing Jesus wishes) is been made on their experience in Christian Embassy or on their studies here helps them to do so.

Once Major General Jack Catton, adviser to the Joint Chiefs of Staff said it as a “wonderful opportunity" to evangelize men and women setting defense policy. He said "first priority is my faith”.

Some military personnel and policy makers believe it is a disturbing theology, but probably a violation to defense policy and regulations reference to separation of church and state. The patriotism is been embraced by fundamentalist thoughts.

There were many generals were involved in promoting Christian Embassy in high level, this has become more active after the sad event on Sept 11. This is been highlighted and reported nationwide in major channels and news papers; and very popular subject among bloggers.

Many country heads are members of Christian Embassy especially from Eastern Europe & Latin America.

They have wing in United Nations too http://christianembassyun.org

Members in these agencies believe Christian Embassy gives them relief, peace of mind, and give them a good mind to take better decision at appropriate time.

For some it is an agency involved in religious activities and engaged in politicizing Christian ideologies and for others it is affecting their religious freedom by imposing such an organization within the federal government agency.

It is widely believed; that it is totally politicizing defense and federal employees and agents through Christian fundamentalist ideologies.

80s

The biggest challenge faced by Indian government in early 80’s.

Indian government declared they flushed out militants; which is formed to disrupt country’s unity and integrity.

Many foreign made ammunitions is been recovered, and many innocent lives lost in this battle.

I was in 7th standard, I remember this day; the day my father told me "a big fight between good guys and bad guys". I asked him who are these good guys; he said "the guys who fights for peace & unity for our country and also who thinks that there is no place for religious feelings when it comes to our country's unity & peace".

Let’s pray that NO particular faith or a religion conquer the patriotism of an Indian.

Yus Assaf -and- Jesus

Jesus death is one of the famous deaths on this earth; It fades only when you die.

Jerusalem in 1980!
--------------------
There was a discovery of tomb which may tragically affect Christian faith if it is proven but impossible to prove. This tomb discovered with remains of what archaeologist claiming as “remains of Jesus” in “Jesus Family Tomb”.

Many scholars had various opinions about resurrection of Christ. During crucifiction; Christ had some medicinal kind of liquid which was given by one of the disciples (given some liquid through sponge).

Whoever crucified on the cross, Roman soldiers confirm death by stabbing them.

Many versions tell that Jesus was unconscious, when Roman soldiers arrived after confirming death of other members; who were crucified along with Jesus. After seeing Jesus standstill body; they thought Jesus died.

After Jesus real death; disciples bought his body to his family tomb and buried him. Jesus adopted father buried in Nazreth and Maria buried in Jerusalem; this body remains also found in tomb.

Jesus had real Brothers not cousins (as per Gospel of Mathew)
Simon, Judah, James and Joseph

Gospel of Mark Says he had a brother named Jose not Joseph. And says he is a brother of Jesus; this body remains also found in tomb.

Mathew, Mark, Luke and John (gospel)
Mathew is not a blood member but there were many Mathews in Jesus family.

Jesus Sisters
Miriam & Salome

Point to note that there was a Jewish Historian in 1BC; Flavious Josephus confirms Jesus died during crucifiction– but some scholars not sure whether he was favoring Christian conspiracy.

Was Jesus family is rich enough to have family tomb since in 1BC Jerusalem was extremely costliest place?

Jesus in India/Tibet
------------------------------

Nicolas Notovitch, a Russian journalist visited India and Tibet in 19th century and written a book on Jesus called “Unknown life of Jesus Christ”; which is another book or a bond of papers contradicts about Jesus resurrection.

Here he claims that he visited a Buddhist Monastery and found a script where it proves Jesus visited India at the age of 14 to learn Buddhism till age 29. From here he learned Pali/Sutras then went back to Israel. And there is no record saying Jesus was in Palestine or Jerusalem during this period.

Per BBC documentary, there are many correlations between Gospel written by Jesus disciples and Buddhism Vedic scripts, some interesting points when you compare Mark’s Gospel and Buddhism (few comments below)

*He cometh under them walking on the sea (Mark - Gospel)
*he walk upon the water without parting it, as if our solid ground (anguttara nikaya - Buddhism)

**It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god (Mark Gospel)
**Riches makes a man greedy and so are like a caravan lurching down road to hell (Buddhism)

Yus Assaf or Issa
------------------

Jesus Resurrection (meaning not real resurrection, as per BBC Documentary).

Many versions tell that Jesus was unconscious, when Roman soldiers arrived after confirming death of other members; who were crucified along with Jesus. After seeing Jesus standstill body; they thought Jesus died.

Jesus was aware Roman Empire will crucify him again, so he fled to east and arrived in Indian northern state called Kashmir in the name of Yus Assaf or Issa.

Scholars in Kashmir claims, Yus Assaf was from Israel and he is of Jewish origin. He died at the age of 128.

Temple of Solomon in Kashmir has some documents which show Yus Assaf lived in Kashmir. And also some internet website claims; there are certain old Hebrew-Negev alphabets used around Solomon hill.

In Srinagar, a shrine was built and believed to be Yus Assaf buried here at 80 AD. During 15th century, Islamic holy man Syed Nasir U Din also buried on top, so that it became a shared grave.

“Syed Nasir U Din” grave built in north-south direction as per Islamic tradition, but many scholars found the grave beneath Syed Nasir U Din’s grave was built as per Jewish tradition, viz East-West direction, and it is believed to be the grave of Yus Assaf or Issa.

Since it is Islamic holy shrine, nobody can dig and prove it however there is a mark left here - the foot print of Yus Assaf and it has scar; scar of nails which was nailed through both the feet.

Cricketer

Funny acts in cricket game to win fans heart?
Okay! As long as it doesn’t tarnish our country’s image!

It is good to see this Indian cricketer make funny acts to win his country’s supporters hearts but he failed to understand that it doesn't make sense to spit on the ground by looking at opponent batsman/bowlers face or just twist his butt against the batsman or bowler; as an expression of joy.

Just saw a repeated “YouTube” video of one our famous south Indian Cricketer.

Great cricketer, but lack of discipline!

Whenever there is (foreign tour or home tour) cricket game; our "this" respected player should know he is representing ONE BILLION faces and a country which has rich culture.

Please do not tarnish that good image especially it matters when known people does it.

All the best; continue to show a good game!

Are we watched or being watched?

Documentary shown in one of the best channel with reference to book named Da Vinci Code.

I have read these books.

I asked myself; are we being watched by someone?

The Knight Templars is a interesting subject came into my mind while reading these books!

Is these secrets are protected by them or others for centuries?

What is the secret of Jesus which world should not know? Mary Magdalene?

If it is true; which body is carrying holy blood now?

Many questions came to my mind and interesting
Opus Dei functions has become more transparent after this book release.

I would suggest to read books named Holy Blood Holy Grail, and on Knight Templar.
Anyways -- Salman Rushdie said "it is not that good to be praised highly, I mean that book type object also a same shape packet of cereal of course"

Sai Baba

The one of the most respected spiritual human on earth.

God never expected anything from human; but he expected to give love and help poor. He expected everyone to come out of all kinds of evil minds.

Sai Baba's message reflects those messages of god. He started/completed many projects which helped millions of poor; service & projects includes free care in Super Speciality Hospital, Food and Water.

People who may believe Sai Baba is just another human; the same people can't deny that he did good things what a human can't do in his lifetime.

I can't deny too.

What a recommendation?

About 30 - 40 days back i happened to see a kids program in Asianet Channel. The talks were good. But it was unfortunate to hear that writer (presenter) asking kids to read Thakazhi's Chemmeen Novel. I completely agree Chemmeen has a great value but not a recommended one for school going kids. What a pain ? Asking kids to read chemmeen novel and not Harry Porter. I just shouted; what the hell.....please shutdown the online tv !
