He won Man Booker Prize for his debut novel, The White Tiger.
The story about a person arrving in Delhi and realises that he is in a trap and has to find his way out. When you read; you may find such type stories in many Indian vernacular languages; but this could be something different that everyone can enjoy. The modern Delhi is seen through the eyes of Balram.
